Tracking a warmer Tuesday, more rain and storms this week

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and cool with lows in the lower 50s. Patchy fog developing late.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny with highs in the lower 80s.

EXTENDED: Tonight will be cool in the lower 50s, and of note we can expect some patchy fog to develop due to clear skies and light winds. Tomorrow will be warmer as highs reach the lower 80s, but I'll be tracking some late day/evening clouds as storms develop ahead of a cold front that will be parked out to our west across Kansas. The remains of those storms may move in from the northwest after 9 or 10PM tomorrow night, but severe risks will be dwindling by that time. Wednesday is dry for much of the day, but there could be storms that develop along a stalled boundary just to our north. As that front moves into Mid-Missouri on Thursday, that's where we'll find our best chances of rain for the week as slow moving storms could put down about an inch of rain or so. We'll see several disturbances moving through the area between Friday and the weekend, keeping temperatures a bit cooler in the 70s, however, we'll have plenty of dry time, too. Rain amounts by the end of the week will add up to 1.5" to 2".
