Tracking a clearer Saturday, severe storms returning tonight

TODAY: Saturday starts out dry as temperatures race to the lower 80s. Isolated non-severe storms could fire up this afternoon bringing heavy downpours. Storm coverage increases this evening as a risk of severe storms returns after sundown. A line of severe storms tracks in from the west near midnight, bringing the threat of 60 mph winds and up to 2" hail.

TOMORROW: Scattered rain continues into early Sunday but will be sub-severe in the morning. A resurgence of stronger storms is possible by late afternoon bringing an isolated threat for high winds and hail.

EXTENDED: We look drier the first half of next week as highs climb back into the lower 80s. The long-term forecast remains active however with showers returning by midweek.
