An Owensville man was charged with two counts of first-degree sexual abuse after he was accused of sexually assaulting at least three children from 1987-94.

Donald W. Littrell Jr., 64, is being held at the Osage County Detention Center, according to a social media post from the Gasconade County Sheriff’s Office. His bond in Gasconade County is set at $50,000. The social media post says the investigation is ongoing and that there is a concern Littrell may have abused more victims.

“If you have been a victim or can provide any information on additional victims, please contact Detective Lynde Mantels at the Gasconade County Sheriff’s Office by contacting 573-437-7770,” the post reads.

The probable cause statement says law enforcement began investigating Littrell on Nov. 27, and spoke with a male and two female victims. The first victim stated they were raped by Littrell three times when they were 12 in 1994, the probable cause statement says.

According to court documents, a second victim told law enforcement that Littrell began sexually assaulting them in 1987, when they would have been 7 years old. The victim told law enforcement that after the first time they were raped, it took another four or five days before they were able to walk or go to school.

A third victim allegedly told law enforcement that Littrell started sexually assaulting them in 1987, when they were 7 years old and continued until she was 14 years old, court documents say.

Two of the victims recalled reading about Littrell sexually assaulting the third victim in their diary, court documents say.

Littrell was interviewed by a Gasconade County Sheriff’s deputy at the Owensville Police Department. Littrell allegedly waived his Miranda Rights to speak with the deputy and denied the allegations, the statement says. He allegedly told the deputy that allegations were previously made against him because of things one of the victims wrote in their diary, the statement says.
