Tracking scattered rain chances before a drier and warmer weekend
TODAY: Spotty showers remain throughout the afternoon hours before more widespread showers surge into the area towards I-44 and just north. Northwest of this area remains a lot more dry. The highest rainfall totals amount to near 1/2" overnight along and south of I-44 back towards Rolla. Highs warm into the mid-60s.
TONIGHT: Overnight lows cool to the upper 40s as spotty showers remain possible towards I-44 and southeast.
EXTENDED: Showers push out of Mid-Missouri by the second half of Thursday morning as highs remain into the mid-60s. Winds out of the north continue to cap temperatures out into the mid to upper 60s Friday with an increase in sunshine. This weekend welcomes highs into the lower 80s with mostly sunny skies. Monday night and Tuesday sees increased chances for scattered showers and storms.
