Woman seriously injured in Howard County crash Monday night

HOWARD COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A single-vehicle crash in Howard County late Monday night sent a Fayette woman to the hospital.

According to the online crash report, Amanda Weis, 41, was driving east in a 2012 Toyota Highlander on 880 County Road 404 around 11:32 p.m. when the SUV went off the left side of the road, hit a culvert and overturned.

Troopers said Weis was taken to University Hospital by ambulance with serious injuries.

Weis was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, the Highway Patrol reported.

The Toyota Highlander was totaled in the crash.
