Tracking widespread rain and storms, strong winds into Monday

TONIGHT: Widespread rain and storms, strong winds increase to 35 mph. Lows near 50.

TOMORROW: Rain and storms likely, with strong wind gusts up to 40 mph. Highs near 60.

EXTENDED: Showers finally saturate dry air from west to east this evening, with rain and storms becoming widespread ahead of a cold front overnight. Count on a soggy Monday with wind gusts up to 40-45 mph at times, as a Wind Advisory goes into effect Monday. Showers and storms become a bit more scattered toward evening, with rain exiting on Tuesday morning. Rain amounts will be in the 1-2" range, with the higher amounts along and east of Highway 63. We'll be left with a cold northwest breeze and some clouds on Tuesday as highs only make the mid-40s. We'll gradually rebound into the 60s to low 70s at the end of the week, with dry weather until the weekend. A front could move through between Saturday night and Sunday, bringing a chance of storms and slightly cooler temperatures by Easter Sunday.
