Tracking a cloudy and cool Thursday

TONIGHT: Increasing clouds and chilly with lows near the freezing mark.

TOMORROW: Mostly cloudy and cool with highs in the lower to mid-50s. Chance of a spot shower or two.

EXTENDED: Tonight is chilly even with clouds moving in as we drop into the lower 30s. Expect more clouds tomorrow as a weak system moves in, keeping temperatures in the lower 50s. A warm front lifts across Mid-Missouri on Friday, sending us into the 60s before the associated cold front moves in late afternoon. That will bring a chance for a spot shower or two. Behind the cold front, Saturday is cooler with highs in the mid-50s and increasing clouds. Sunday is a bit warmer before rain rolls in as highs get into the lower 60s, but the dry weather is short lived before widespread showers move in between Sunday night and early Tuesday. Rain amounts will end up around 1-1.5" through early Tuesday. We can expect a brief cool down with highs in the lower 50s by Tuesday. Temperatures look seasonable and we could potentially be dry for the entirety of Easter weekend.
