Tracking a slight cool down, widespread late weekend rain

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy to mostly clear with lows in the upper 30s.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and cooler with highs in the mid-50s.

EXTENDED: Temperatures will be about 10 degrees warmer overnight as we remain in the upper 30s, but tomorrow is cooler in the 50s with sunshine behind a cold front. We'll see a few more clouds and a spot shower or two on Thursday as a weak disturbance moves through, but widespread rain isn't expected. Still, it will be chilly with highs in the lower to mid-50s. Friday is a bit warmer as a warm front works in, but clouds and a low rain chance stick around. Saturday will be cool in the mid-50s with partly cloudy skies and rain-free. We'll be tracking a stronger low pressure system that could bring widespread rain by afternoon that continues into Monday. A few rumbles of thunder are possible, but severe weather isn't expected at this time. Rain amounts could add up to 2" between the two days, helping out with moderate drought conditions.
