Shakira, Jennifer Lopez talk Super Bowl halftime show

Preparations for the Pepsi Super Bowl LIV Halftime Show, are underway in Miami, Florida.

A news conference was held Thursday with Jennifer Lopez and Shakira, who will both be performing during the 12-minute halftime show on Sunday. The performers remained tight-lipped about specifics but said viewers can expect to see a mixture of both of their styles.

"It's a lot of energy, it's very entertaining, there are heartfelt moments. I think we run the gamut, it's packed with a lot of awesome moments," Lopez said.

Halftime organizers said they believe the halftime show will be the most-watched entertainment segment of the year. They also said it’s the most complex show they’ve put together. Organizers said the show will feature more songs and dancers than any of the previous years, as well as set the bar for future shows.

Demi Lavato is set to sing the national anthem and Yolanda Adams is set to sing America the Beautiful.
