Vanderbilt spoils senior night, Mizzou loses 10th straight game
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Mizzou Women's Basketball's losing streak has reached 10 consecutive games after the Tigers fell to Vanderbilt 68-61 on senior night. Thursday night's contest was Mizzou's final home game of the regular season.
The Tigers honored their four seniors, Hayley Frank, Mama Dembele, Abby Feit and Micah Linthacum, with a pregame ceremony and each of them were in the starting lineup. Linthacum made her first collegiate start in this contest.
Robin Pingeton's crew held a narrow 48-47 lead entering the fourth quarter, but Vanderbilt started the final 10 minutes of the game on an 11-2 scoring run to run away with an 8-point lead with about four minutes left in the contest.

Vanderbilt's biggest statistical advantage in this game was offensive rebounding, grabbing 13 offensive boards compared to Mizzou's six offensive rebounds. The Tigers finished with both a higher field goal percentage and three-point percentage compared to the Commodores.
Ashton Judd scored a team-high 15 points, and three of Mizzou's four seniors finished the contest in double figures.
Up next - Mizzou hits the road for its final regular season game before next week's SEC Tournament. Pingeton's group will face Mississippi State on Sunday, March 3 at 2 p.m.
