Tracking continuously warming temperatures with Thursday morning scattered storms

TODAY: Afternoon highs rise into the lower 60s with mostly sunny sky conditions. Winds remain out of the southwest at 5-10 mph.

TONIGHT: Overnight lows cool to around 40 degrees as skies remain mostly clear. Winds remain out of the southwest at 5-10 mph.

EXTENDED: Wednesday sees highs climb toward 70 degrees with sunshine poking back through. Late Wednesday night into early Thursday morning, showers and storms push in from the west and remain along I-70 and to the south. Moderate showers and lightening remain possible. Showers/ storms push east by the afternoon hours. This weekend remains dry with a warming trend beginning Sunday
