Tracking snow and a sharp cool down, ahead of another warm up

TODAY: Friday is an ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather Alert Day, as morning snow brings the potential for slick roads, especially north of I-70. Snow will begin before sunrise, last through the morning, and taper off by the afternoon. For more details, check out our blog. It's a cold day, with highs in the 30s.

TONIGHT: Temperatures plummet as skies clear overnight.

EXTENDED: We'll start Saturday in the teens, but mostly sunny skies are enough to get our highs into the 30s. Sunshine and south winds lift temperatures back to near 50 by Sunday afternoon. Then our warm trend continues into next week, with highs in the 50s Monday, and 60s Tuesday through Wednesday. This warm up will lead to a chance for rain on Thursday, with highs dropping into the 50s. Otherwise, plenty of sunshine is forecast for the first half of the week.
