Mizzou falls to No. 14 in Road to Nationals Rankings

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

After posting its second-lowest team score of the season at No. 5 Kentucky last Friday, Mizzou Gymnastics now sits at No. 14 in the latest Road to Nationals Rankings. Shannon Welker's crew posted a team score of 196.600 against the Wildcats, marking just the second time this season that Mizzou did not score above the 197.000-mark.

As a team, the Tigers are ranked No. 6 in the nation on floor, No. 11 on vault, No. 14 on bars and No. 22 on beam.

Mizzou also has four gymnasts, who are individually ranked in three different events. Jocelyn Moore is ranked No. 4 in the country on floor and No. 22 on vault. Mara Titarsolej is ranked No. 18 on bars, and Hannah Horton and Amari Celestine are among the top 25 vaulters in the nation, checking in at No. 18 and No. 25 respectively.

Up next - Mizzou will host its "Zou to the Lou" meet on Friday, Feb. 16. The Tigers will compete against No. 6 Florida, Illinois and Lindenwood at Family Arena in St. Charles. The meet is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
