Tracking mild temperatures for most of the week, brief late week cold snap

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and cold with lows in the upper 20s.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny with highs in the mid-50s.

EXTENDED: Tonight is clear and cold, but warmer than normal as lows fall into the upper 20s. Tomorrow, we get back into the 50s before warming up to about 60 by Wednesday afternoon. A disturbance moving through could bring a couple rain showers on Wednesday night, but Thursday is looking dry and slightly cooler in the lower 50s. Another cold front works through on Thursday night into Friday, bringing a shot a light snow, with any accumulation adding up to a dusting on the grass. We're much cooler in the wake of that with highs on Friday only topping out around 40 or just above. A cold Arctic high pressure settles in for the weekend with temperatures remaining in the 30s on Saturday before rebounding to around 50 by Sunday.
