Tracking a warming trend mid-week before a weekend cool down

TODAY: Afternoon highs rise into the mid to upper 40s as snowfall pushes out of southeastern portions of Mid-Missouri after 3 pm. Skies remain partly cloudy with winds out of the northwest at 5-10 mph.

TONIGHT: Overnight lows cool to the upper 20s as winds continue out of the northwest at 4-8 mph. Skies become mostly clear overnight.

EXTENDED: Temperatures look to warm by mid-week eventually topping out near 60 degrees by Wednesday with more sunshine poking back through. Friday sees chances for rain and possibly some wet snow as a low pressure system moves through. This weekend sees a dramatic cool down with highs only reaching into the upper 30s on Saturday.
