Tracking gusty winds and much warmer than average temperatures tomorrow

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy and mild with lows in the upper 40s.

TOMORROW: Mostly cloudy and warm with a spot shower or two in the morning. Highs in the upper 60s with wind gusts up to 40 mph.

EXTENDED: Winds will increase to about 25 mph overnight, with a Wind Advisory in effect for much of Mid-Missouri tomorrow. Strong low level winds ahead of cold front will ramp up by tomorrow morning, triggering a few showers. Rain is short lived, but temperatures manage to reach the upper 60s along with wind gusts up to 40 mph through the day. Friday is mild again, in the mid-60s, but there could a few showers or rumbles of thunder tied to another front moving through in the evening. Behind that, it's chilly to start the weekend with highs in the upper 40s to around 50 on Saturday. We could see a few showers Saturday night, but a better shot at a little rain for areas near the Lake of the Ozarks on Sunday. Sunday night  could bring a rain/snow mix for the southern half of the area if temperatures drop to near freezing before midnight.
