Tracking even warmer temperatures, gusty winds the next few days

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy and mild with lows in the upper 30s.

TOMORROW: Partly cloudy and windy with gusts up to 30 mph. Highs in the lower 60s.

EXTENDED: We'll be warmer tonight as clouds roll in, keeping temperatures in the upper 30s. Tomorrow will be a bit cloudier, but warmer as highs get into the lower 60s. I'm tracking low pressure to our north on Thursday, and we'll be in the warm sector of that system. Winds could gust to 35-40 mph with temperatures reaching the mid-60s. A few showers or rumbles of thunder are possible, but the front really lags behind the best energy for any widespread development. Rain amounts will end up less than 0.1". We'll be partly cloudy and mild on Friday to end the week, but behind the front we'll cool down Friday night into the upper 30s. Saturday is chillier but temperatures still top out near 50 degrees. Another low pressure system to our south could bring more clouds and a spot shower Sunday night, but we'll mainly just be tracking a cool down as highs only reach the low to mid-40s. The cooling trend continues into next week as temperatures reach the mid-40s.
