One dead in Osage Beach crash

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Osage Beach police said Wednesday that one person died in a crash.

Officers were sent to the area of the Grand Glaize Bridge, according to an Osage Beach Police Department news release. The release didn't specify the time or the circumstances of the crash.

Police say the investigation continues and more information won't be released until next of kin is notified.

The Osage Beach Fire Protection District said in a Facebook post that eastbound traffic was stopped on the bridge but one lane reopened around 4:30 p.m.
