Tracking dense fog and more rain to come

TODAY: Afternoon highs reach into the lower 40s with mostly cloudy skies. Fog remains widespread into the region with a dense fog advisory in effect until noon Thursday. Winds switch out of the northwest up to six mph.

TONIGHT: Overnight lows cool to the upper 30s with mostly cloudy skies and remaining fog.

EXTENDED: Rain moves into Mid-Missouri Thursday morning after 6 am becoming widespread closer to noon. This rain exits to the east after 10 pm with another chance for rain by Saturday. Friday remains dry and cloudy with highs into the upper 40s. Next week sees highs reach into the lower 50s with more sunshine ahead.
