A Libyan delegation reopens talks in Lebanon on a missing cleric and on Gadhafi’s detained son

BEIRUT (AP) — A delegation of Libyan justice officials has visited Lebanon to reopen discussions over the fate of a prominent Lebanese cleric who went missing in Libya decades ago. Officials say they separately discussed the potential release of late dictator Moammar Gadhafi’s son Hannibal, who has been held without charges in Lebanon since 2015. The delegation is intended to activate a dormant agreement signed between Lebanon and Libya in 2014 for cooperation in the investigation into the 1978 disappearance of Shiite cleric Moussa al-Sadr. An official says the delegation is expected to return to Lebanon next week.
