Tracking dangerous temperatures with a warm-up next week
TONIGHT: Overnight lows cool to just under zero degrees as wind chills bottom out at into the negative teens. Winds remain out of the northwest at 8-12 mph with gusts up to 25 mph possible.
TOMORROW: Saturday sees mostly sunny skies with highs only reaching into the early teens. The current ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather Alert Day is set to expire tomorrow at 10 am. Winds remain out of the northwest at 5-10 mph.
EXTENDED: Sunday remains partly cloudy with highs just under freezing. Late Sunday night into early Monday morning sees the chance for freezing rain before afternoon highs warm the atmosphere above freezing resulting in rainfall. Scattered showers remain through the region through Thursday with highs into the low to mid-40s.
