Lake Ozark man accused of flashing women on MU’s campus in 2021

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Lake Ozark man was charged with a pair of felonies this week after court documents say he exposed himself to two women at the University of Missouri’s campus in 2021.

Jacob Paul Bush, 26, was charged on Tuesday with two counts of first-degree harassment. Charges were amended from misdemeanor charges filed in 2022, which is when the probable cause statement was filed.

A criminal summons was issued on Thursday and an initial court appearance is set for 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8 at the Boone County Courthouse.

According to the probable cause statement, Bush pulled up in a black Ford Mustang convertible and asked the women for pictures of their feet while he was masturbating. One of the women told police that he already has his penis out “like he had done it to other girls prior to their incident,” according to the court document.

Police reviewed surveillance video from cameras on campus and found a license plate number for the vehicle, which belonged to Bush’s parents, the statement says.
