Tracking clouds and impactful snow to start the week

TONIGHT: I'm tracking a low chance (20-30%) to run into a light snow/rain mix throughout the rest of the evening. Temperatures by the end of the night will cool off into the low 30s and high 20s. Patchy fog is a possibility through the overnight and early morning hours.

TOMORROW: I'm tracking a mostly cloudy day with breaks in that cloud cover as temperatures only warm into the high 30s.

EXTENDED: Monday and Tuesday are both ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather Alert Days for the increasing potential in impactful snow. The system will enter our western most counties by the early afternoon hours on Monday and extend over almost all of mid-MO by the later afternoon and evening hours. It will start as mostly rain and attempt to transition into snow throughout the rest of the evening. Areas north of I-70 are expected to see the most impacts as Macon, Chariton, Randolph, Saline, Howard, Pettis, and Cooper county are already in a Winter Storm Watch from Monday morning until Tuesday Afternoon.
