Doyle picked as new Fulton director of administration

FULTON, Mo. (KMIZ)

Courtney Doyle is the City of Fulton’s new director of administration, according to a Wednesday press release from the city.

The release states that Doyle was appointed to the position by the Fulton City Council during Tuesday night’s council meeting. Doyle was named the interim director in July after Renee Tyler was fired from the position on July 7. The reason for Tyler’s termination was not released. The city began searching for a permanent director last month.

The release states Doyle is a lifelong Fulton resident and she began working for the city in 2013. She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management. She previously worked as the city clerk before she was picked as the assistant director of administration last year, the release states.

Mayor Steve Myers was quoted in the release saying that the city had 15 applicants for the position.

Together, we will build upon the strong foundation of progress and ensure the continued growth and success of our beloved city
