Tracking spring-like warmth, likely rain through the holiday weekend

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy and breezy with lows in the lower 30s.

TOMORROW: Partly to mostly cloudy and warmer with highs in the mid-upper 50s.

EXTENDED: The Christmas warm up is on the way with highs getting back into the mid-50s by tomorrow as our upper pattern begins to shift, bringing in more southwesterly winds. Thursday starts off dry but expect more clouds as moisture starts to stream in ahead of a disturbance that will bring rain late Thursday through the first half of Friday. Measurable rain clears out Friday night into the start of Saturday, but a stronger low pressure system barrels in for the remainder of the weekend with rain looking likely through Christmas Day. Showers will be most widespread between Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, with temperatures just shy of 60 degrees. Rain amounts will likely be around 1" or just above through Monday afternoon. The rest of next week will feature slightly cooler temperatures and chances for light rain.
