New Franklin man dies in single-car crash Saturday afternoon
HOWARD COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)
A New Franklin man died in a single-car crash this afternoon.
Dennis Klatt, 65, was driving north on Missouri 5 south of County Road 345 when he drove off the side of the right side of the road, over corrected, and drove off the left side of the road. Klatt hit a parked trailer.
He was pronounced dead on scene by the Howard County coroner just after 4 p.m. and taken to the Howard Funeral Home.
Klatt's family has been notified of the crash, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.
This is Troop F's 6th deadly crash in December and 50th this year.
