Tracking a cloudier night, mild to end the week

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy and chilly with lows in the lower 30s. A few flurries possible north of Highway 36.

TOMORROW: Clouds stick around to start the day, but gradually decrease. Highs in the upper 40s to around 50.

EXTENDED: A disturbance to our northwest will move in tonight, with clouds sticking around through Wednesday. A lack of moisture over the region will limit much precipitation, but a few flurries will be possible north of Highway 36 overnight. Clouds gradually decrease on Wednesday, allowing temperatures to rise back to near 50. Winds shift back to the southeast on Thursday, pushing temperatures into the lower 50s with sunshine. Clouds return on Friday ahead of a front that could bring a few showers on Saturday. Temperatures will be a bit cooler in the wake of that front on Saturday, in the upper 40s. Stargazers will want to take advantage of clearer skies tomorrow and Thursday nights to get a peek at the Geminid meteor shower that will continue through Sunday.
