RECALL ROUNDUP: Federal regulators recall children’s stainless-steel cups, chocolate coins and Chrysler vehicles

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Tiblue stainless-steel children's cups have been recalled by the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The CPSC has recalled 84,000 of the cups because they violate the federal lead ban.

According to health experts, if lead is ingested it can cause adverse health effects, especially in children.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission also says the lid on the cup can crack and break, causing sharp edges and small parts putting children at risk of cuts and choking hazards.

The affected products are the 8 oz. and 12 oz. models that were sold in 11 different color combinations in pairs.

The cups were sold between August 2021 and July this year on Amazon.

Manischewitz Chocolate Coins

Manischewitz has recalled its dark chocolate coins due to possibly containing milk.

The company says some Hanukkah Chocolate Coins are labeled as dark chocolate but might have milk chocolate in them.

The Food and Drug Administration says those who have a milk allergy run the risk of life-threatening allergic reactions if they eat the coins.

Luckily, the affected coins are easy to spot.

The company says all of the milk chocolate coins are wrapped in gold foil. But, if they are in a blue netting with a dark chocolate tag, those are the affected products.

The recalled chocolates were sold between Sept. 26 through Nov. 28. of this year.

Chrysler and Ram Vehicles

Chrysler has recalled over 142,000 of its vehicles due to problems with headlights and turn signals.

The recall includes various makes and models as well as some 2023 Ram trucks.

The company says it issued the recall because the steering column control module may cause the high beams to activate when the turn signal is used, or, it may activate the turn signal when the high beams are used.

Chrysler says owners of affected vehicles will be notified by letter next month.
