Mizzou lands top-ranked cornerback in transfer portal

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Toriano Pride, the No. 1 ranked cornerback in the college football transfer portal, announced on Wednesday night that he is committing to the Mizzou football team. Pride is the first transfer Eli Drinkwitz and his staff have landed in their 2024 class.

Pride is listed as a four-star transfer by 247 Sports, and he was also a four-star high school football prospect out of East St. Louis, Illinois.

The sophomore defensive back played the last two seasons at Clemson, appearing in 26 games and posting 36 tackles, nine passes defensed, and one interception during those two seasons.
