Stephens College announces new program providing free tuition to some students

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Stephens College announced a new program in a Monday press release that will provide free tuition to some students.

The release states that the Stephens Promise program will begin in the 2024 fall semester. The program will provide free tuition to full-time students whose annual adjust family income is fewer than $75,000 per year, the release states.  

The college stated in the release that, in order to qualify, students must have at least a 3.3 GPA, be a residential student and file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid every year.

New, current and undergraduate transfer students who meet the criteria are eligible, the release states.
