CPD to help with traffic during Veterans United light display

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Columbia Police Department will be helping with traffic flow at Veterans United south Columbia location for its holiday lights display in December, according to a press release from Veterans United.

A “drive-through” viewing of lights at the business’ location at 550 Veterans United Drive will take place 7-10:30 p.m. Dec. 5-17, according to the release. Staff will also help direct traffic, according to the release.

Traffic from South Providence Road will be restricted from turning east onto Veterans United Drive while the event is underway each night, the release states. Veterans United Drive can be accessed from State Farm Parkway.

The release states the driving route is about a mile long around the business’ location. Those looking to attend will not be allowed to stop or exit their vehicles, the release states.
