Tracking showers overnight, drying out and chilly tomorrow
TONIGHT: Cloudy with scattered to steady showers with gusty winds up to 25 mph. Lows in the upper 30s to around 40.
TOMORROW: Rain exits, but cool temperatures remain with strong northwest winds keeping temperatures in the mid-40s.
EXTENDED: Rain continues this evening, even perhaps getting more steady after sunset with showers tapering off early on Tuesday. Temperatures tonight remain near 40, but showers should exit by mid-morning Tuesday, leaving us with gradual clearing and strong northwest winds to keep things chilly in the mid-upper 40s. Total rainfall amounts will end up around 0.75" to 1", and we'll be dry for travel on Wednesday. Thanksgiving looks very pleasant with sunshine and highs in the lower 50s. A cold front comes through Thursday into Friday, bringing a few more clouds and cooler temperatures back into the 40s on Friday. The weekend will be chillier with highs in the low 40s and a disturbance that could bring some light precipitation between Saturday night and Sunday. Depending on the timing of that, we'll have to watch temperatures for precipitation type, however, that system isn't very moisture heavy so impacts aren't expected at this time. Next week looks to start off dry with slightly cooler than average temperatures.
