The prices of some grocery items have started to fall, and the CEO of Walmart on Thursday said the economy could be in store for deflation.

Food prices are up about 25% since the pandemic and those price increases have eaten away at wage gains. But now food inflation shows signs of slowing down and the price of some basic items has dropped.
