The morning commute for drivers who use the westbound side of the Missouri River bridge at Rocheport will be impacted on Thursday.

According to a press release from the Missouri Department of Transportation, westbound Interstate 70 will be narrowed down to one lane while crews install river navigation lights.

The work is scheduled to take place on Thursday from 6-9 a.m. just west of Exit 115, according to the release.

Currently, both westbound and eastbound travelers are using the westbound bridge during construction, but MoDOT said eastbound traffic should not be impacted by the installation.
