RECALL ROUNDUP: Millions of Toyota and Honda cars recalled for safety concerns
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Two of Japan's biggest carmakers announced recalls over safety concerns for millions of models.
Toyota is recalling 2.9 million vehicles in the US. The company said there are problems with equipment meant to keep drivers safe in the event of a crash.
Vehicles included in the call back are: Corolla Matrix, Avalon, Avalon HV.
Honda is also recalling 2.7 million cars over safety concerns. More than 2.4 million of the recalled vehicles are in the US.
The automaker said some Acuras produced between 1996 and 2003 may have dysfunctional airbag seals.
