Tracking a mild and quiet week ahead

TONIGHT: Mostly clear with lows in the upper 30s to around 40.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy with highs in the upper 60s.

EXTENDED: We're about 10 degrees warmer than Saturday in the wake of upper high pressure pushing the jet stream north. Overnight, temperatures dip to near 40 as clear skies continue into Monday. This week will be mild as temperatures reach about 10 degrees above average each afternoon with highs in the mid-upper 60s as our upper pattern remains quiet. Low pressure slides by across the southeast, keeping any meaningful rain well to our south. At the end of the week, we'll be tracking a cold front that slides through on Friday and brings a few showers with slightly cooler but seasonable temperatures falling to the low 60s for highs.
