Tracking warmer temperatures and more clouds into the weekend

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and chilly with lows in the upper 30s to around 40.

TOMORROW: Partly cloudy and windy with highs in the mid-60s and wind gusts up to 30 mph.

EXTENDED: Overnight, temperatures stay above freezing with lows near 40. Tomorrow is another mild and windy day but we should see dew points jump up a bit, decreasing the fire risk in our area. Highs reach the low to mid-60s. Over the weekend, I'll be tracking a cold front that will increase the cloud coverage and bring a chance for a few showers between Saturday night and Sunday morning. Measurable rain will be hard to come by over the weekend. The front looks to settle just to our south early next week, bringing a chance for a few showers on Monday into Monday night, with slightly cooler air settling in by Tuesday. Another disturbance could move in by late next week that looks a bit more promising, but with the west-east jet stream pattern there's a bit of uncertainty as to where these systems will track this far in advance. Temperatures on a whole look to trend above average through the first half of November.
