Tracking a warm afternoon before a wet rest of the week

Today: Afternoon highs warm into the lower 80s as winds remain out of the southwest at 12-18 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. Skies remain mostly sunny.

Tonight: Skies remain mostly clear as lows cool to the lower 60s.

Extended: Tuesday morning welcomes scattered showers and storms that become more widespread throughout the afternoon hours. Showers and storms remain possible throughout the rest of the week as highs remain into the mid to upper 70s. Saturday sees a dramatic shift in temperatures just below 60 degrees. Rainfall totals throughout the next seven days remains widespread 2"-3".
