Callaway County Sheriff arrests two after multi-county pursuit

CALLAWAY COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Two men in their early twenties were arrested Saturday after leading a Callaway County Sheriff's Office vehicle on a multi-county chase.

Liam Lee Austin, 21, was arrested for allegedly resisting arrest by fleeing, driving with a revoked license and speeding. He bonded out of jail Sunday. Aidan Hunter Timbrook, 20, was also arrested for allegedly resisting arrest by fleeing, failing to yeild to an emergency vehicle and speeding. Timbrook also bonded out of jail Sunday. Both men had a $10,000 bond.

Deputies tried to stop a motorcycle for speeding on Highway 54 near Auxvasse when it fled, according to Lt. Curtis Hall with the Callaway County Sheriff's Office. The motorcycle was joined by another during the pursuit.

One of the motorcycles came to a stop in Columbia near State Road B and Highway 63 where he was arrested, according to Hall. The second driver was later arrested when he came to bond out the first driver.
