Tracking up and down temperatures and rainfall this week

Today: Winds have switched out of the south early Sunday, bringing highs to the low 70s this afternoon. These winds could gust up to 20 mph through the evening.

Tomorrow: Monday is cooler again, starting in the 40s and only reaching the mid-60s in the afternoon. Skies remain mostly clear for the start of the week.

Extended: Tuesday welcomes more clouds and warmer temperatures back to near 70 degrees. This comes as an active pattern sets up for the rest of the week with rain expected as early as Tuesday evening. On-and-off soaking rain is possible through the end of the workweek with the most widespread coverage Thursday evening into early Friday. This system will likely bring several inches of rainfall along with below-average temperatures into next weekend.
