Tracking blustery conditions into a chilly weekend

THIS AFTERNOON: A cold front will move through today, and while dry air will limit any rainfall, gusty northerly winds will bring much cooler conditions. Breezes will likely pick up to 12-15 mph, keeping temperatures consistently falling this afternoon. We'll fall out of the 60s into the 50s as the front moves through.

TONIGHT: Temperatures plummet tonight to the 30s while winds remain high. This isn't the best setup for frost development, but colder low-lying areas could see their first frost into the weekend.

EXTENDED: Conditions will be chilly early Saturday as temperatures climb through the 40s. Afternoon highs may reach the low 60s but overall cool weather is expected. Another chilly and breezy night into Sunday could also bring a second chance of frost though this is fairly unlikely. We then warm into Sunday
