Tracking a cool and breezy end to the week

TODAY: Sunshine kicks off Friday morning, but clouds will arrive around midday, bringing breezy conditions with them. No rain is expected, but you may see a sprinkle or two reach the ground. Expect this to keep highs in the low 60s.

TONIGHT: Our cool down continues tonight, with temperatures falling into the upper 30s in many places by sunrise. Some folks in the west and northwest will see the coolest temperatures in the mid-to-upper 30s, but with a breeze, frost is unlikely. A perfect combination of low lying and wind shielded terrain in the western part of the viewing area would be necessary for any frost to form so if anyone sees frost it will be extremely isolated.

EXTENDED: We'll reach low 60s on Saturday afternoon under mostly sunny skies, and then it's another chilly morning on Sunday. Winds don't look any calmer, or temperatures any cooler, so I think we'll stave off frost another night. Then, it's out of the question, as we slowly warm. We'll reach near 70 for a high on Sunday with a switch to south winds, before another cold front returns us to 60s on Monday. Then, we'll maintain highs near 70 with dry conditions through Tuesday, but an approaching low brings chances for rain back Wednesday and Thursday.
