Fulton man with child porn charges now charged with sexual misconduct in Moniteau County

FULTON, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Fulton man who was charged last week with having child pornography has now been charged with sexual misconduct involving a child.

Robert Wayne Stuart, 35, was charged on Sept. 27 in Callaway County with six counts of having child pornography. Stuart has since been charged in Moniteau County with sexual misconduct of a child younger than 15 years old. He is being held in the Callaway County Jail without bond.

 According to the probable cause statement for the Moniteau County charge, Stuart allegedly took a video of a young girl and gave her directions to remove her clothes while he was recording. Based on the metadata for the video, it was determined to have been filmed in Russellville, according to the probable cause statement.

A court date has not been set for the Moniteau County charge. A bond hearing is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Wednesday for the Callaway County charges.
