Tracking a dry and warm pattern ahead

TODAY: Wednesday will start wet for some early in the morning, but by sunrise most will be dry as showers and storms from overnight weaken and drift east. Some patchy fog is possible this morning, but overall it should be a clear start, with temperatures in the low 60s for many. With more north wind through the day, temperatures should be a few degrees cooler than yesterday, with highs in the mid-80s under mostly sunny skies.

TONIGHT: Temperatures will fall a bit further overnight, into the low 60s and upper 50s thanks to clear skies and a light northeast breeze. This may result in a better chance for fog, specifically in the northeast Thursday morning.

EXTENDED: Thursday brings back south wind behind a warm front. This puts highs in the mid-to-upper 80s on Thursday, and keeps us in the upper 80s, close to 90 at times from Friday through the weekend. With temperatures in the upper 80s and dewpoints peaking in the 60s on Friday, it may be the warmest feeling day in the forecast, with a heat index value a few degrees into the 90s. Temperatures stay in the mid-80s through early next week, with no rain forecast at least through Tuesday. Hints at rain chances linger just beyond the next 7 days.
