Scammers are always trying to find new ways to scam people out of their money, especially now in the days of the internet and smartphones.
Scammers have recently tried to impersonate the United States Postal Service through text messaging, creating fake streaming sites to bait people who want to watch football, creating fake contracts for HVAC systems, as well as rental and credit card scams and more. A Fulton man was recently charged with attempted stealing after consumers claim they made payments but never received their items.
