Audrain County man convicted on child pornography charge
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
A federal judge found an Audrain County man guilty Tuesday of producing and receiving child pornography.
William Dahl, 39, of Rush Hill, was convicted on one count of producing and two counts of receiving child pornography. His minimum prison sentence is 15 years, according to the office of the U.S. attorney for Missour's Eastern District.
The victims were 14, 16 and 7 years old when the crimes were committed, according to the news release.
Dahl took pictures of one in the Moberly cemetery and sent images of his genitals to her and images of her to others, according to Judge John A. Ross' order. He exchanged nude photos with a 16-year-old and gave her a cellphone, alcohol and vaping pods, the order says.
A co-defendant, Jennifer Huddleston, admitted in a May federal guilty plea that she took photographs of herself abusing the 7-year-old and sent them to Dahl, the release says. She also possessed and downloaded child pornography, according to the prosecutor's office.
Dahl has also been charged with statutory rape, statutory sodomy, child molestation, forcible sodomy, rape and attempted rape in Audrain County.
Dahl is scheduled for federal sentencing in December and Huddleston will be sentenced Oct. 3.
