About 150 migrants rescued from two sailboats off western Greece and in the Aegean Sea

ATHENS, Greece (AP) — About 150 migrants have been rescued from overloaded sailboats in two separate incidents, one far off western Greece and the other in the Aegean Sea. The coast guard says a group of 76 people was taken off a yacht in distress 64 nautical miles southwest of the Ionian Sea island of Zakynthos in western Greece on Wednesday. All were taken on board a passing Egyptian-flagged cargo ship. In the second incident, about 80 people were evacuated from a sailboat off Kythnos island, southeast of the Greek capital. There are no reports of missing people in either incident.
