Tracking mild conditions sticking around until the weekend
TODAY: I'm tracking temperatures getting up into the mid 80s and partly cloudy skies once a cold front pushes through in the later afternoon. Little to no rain is expected with this front. Winds will be shifting into the NE after this system pushes through, and temperatures will drop into the low 60s overnight.
TOMORROW: I'm tracking slightly cooler conditions with the help of this cold front, with temperatures only getting up into the low 80s. Mostly sunny skies are expected throughout the day on Wednesday.
EXTENDED: I'm tracking another slightly cooler day Thursday, with temperatures getting up into high 70s and low 80s. It'll be a picture perfect setup for tailgating and attending Mizzou's home opener against South Dakota. Temperatures will start to warm slightly into Friday, and by Saturday they will be above average in the high 80s and low 90s. This is with the return of a mid level ridge over Missouri, but as of right now isn't trending to be as strong as last week. Through the weekend humidity will slowly build with the help of southerly winds bringing in moisture at the surface.
