Tracking cooler than average temperatures with drier conditions

Today: The afternoon high rises into the lower 80s with partly cloudy sky conditions. Winds remain out of the northeast at 5-10 mph.

Tonight: Overnight lows cool to the lower 60s as winds begin to switch out of the northwest at 5 mph. Skies remain partly cloudy.

Extended: A warming trend begins after Thursday as highs increase back towards 90 degrees into this upcoming weekend. From Wednesday lasting through this weekend, skies remain mostly sunny thanks to a high pressure system overhead.
