Tracking a gorgeous end to the weekend

TODAY: Clouds and patchy fog will kick off the day with cooler temperatures in the 60s. Cloud cover somewhat clears out by the afternoon with temperatures nearing 80 degrees. A stray shower can't be ruled out this afternoon near I-44.

TOMORROW: Clouds linger into Monday with morning lows in the lower 60s. Highs will once again flirt with the 80s but stubborn cloud cover keeps us cooler.

EXTENDED: A cold front will sweep through the region on Tuesday bringing minimal rain chances and more clouds. The largest impact from this will be prolonged milder temperatures with northerly winds flowing in through midweek. As winds turn southerly next weekend, humidity returns, and highs will rise sharply to the lower 90s, but not nearly as hot as this past week.
